Meet the Experts
Johnnie Jones III is the Coordinator of Caregiver Training and Support for Elder Options. With over 30 years of experience and 20 years as a psycho-educator, Johnnie is a master of evidence-based health curricula. As a Certified Dementia Practitioner and Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Trainer, he specializes in programs like Savvy Caregiver Training and Coping With Caregiving. Johnnie also serves as the co-chair of the Greater Gainesville Dementia Care and Cure Initiative Task Force and will be sharing how caregivers can utilize the GUIDE (Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience) model to find better balance and support.
Debbie Sahay is a community-oriented business leader and the Director of Operations for ANCHOR (anchorncf.com). Debbie leads Elder Options’ newest initiative, which is specifically designed to bridge the gap for families who need a more tailored, personal touch. ANCHOR offers a private-pay, hourly service model for geriatric care management, allowing families to access professional expertise on their own terms. Debbie is passionate about helping seniors stay safe, independent, and thriving in their own homes through this flexible, personalized approach.
